 Jakob Bengel

I have been fortunate enough to source a large selection of amazing dead stock Jakob Bengel pieces. I do have multiples of some, but when they’re gone, they’re gone and who knows if I'll ever fid anything like them again - so if you love a piece, buy it!

Locksmith Jakob Bengel began making watch chains at his factory in Germany in 1873. The chains mainly made from brass, silver and copper proved to be a success and by the 1920s the firm was also producing geometric costume jewellery. The styling features very much reflect the Machine Age style of Bengel’s output. The factory closed at the outbreak of World War Two in 1939 and was unknown until 2001 when collectors discovered the factory and its catalogues.
